 This page will showcase our "Corset of the Month", a beautiful piece of wearable art, hand-crafted in the Bad Kitty atelier. These corsets will be hand-made featuring designs inspired by whatever takes our fancy. All  these unique corsets will be hand-painted, printed or embellished by Bad Kitty. August 2008 - The Irezumi Corset          

 Irezumi is the art of traditional Japanese tattooing. This silvery green slik dupion corset features a hand-beaded design which echoes, in style and size, the koi carp motif featured in the tattoo sleeve of the model. This design took over 60 hour's to complete and used in excess of 2000 tiny rocaille beads, along with sequins. A matching mini top hat was custom-dyed to complement the corset and was covered in tiny Swarovski crystals. This hat featured hand-curled ostrich plumes with Swarovski detailing and silver merry widow veiling.
